Injection treatment for worry lines, glabeller lines, moderate to severe frown lines between eyebrows, laugh lines, and crows feet.

Xeomin® works by temporarily stopping muscles from contracting. The FDA originally approved Xeomin® in August 2010 for two conditions: blepharospasm (eyelid spasms) and cervical dystonia (severe contractions of the neck muscles). One year later, the FDA approved Xeomin® for the same uses as Botox®, namely the treatment of glabellar lines, the lines that form between the eyebrows.
Botox® is one of the most well-known brand names for wrinkle treatment, but it’s not always a fit for everyone. In some cases, a person may have a reaction to the extra proteins that are found in the Botox® formulation. For patients unable to use Botox®, Dermatology Associates of Seattle offers Xeomin®, an alternative option for wrinkle treatment.
